Bio I am first and foremost a feminist. This means I believe women to be no more and no less than men.
My livejournal is MY space. It is my safe haven on the internet. To keep it safe I have a few rules. If you deliberately ignore my rules you will be banned. This does NOT mean I am stripping you of your Constitution-granted right to freedom of speech. I have not effectively silenced you all over the internet or in real life from sharing your opinion. I have only taken steps to ensure my space is not a hostile environment.
The most important thing to remember? My rights end where yours begin. Get that? MY RIGHTS END WHEN YOURS BEGIN. The same goes for you. Your rights are your rights insofar as they do not infringe on my rights, in which case it becomes PRIVILEGE.

1. I, nor anyone else, don't have to explain anything to you. If you don't know what feminism is I may provide you with a link. I may not. It is up to you to educate yourself, I am not here to coddle you.
2. Don't shit in my living room. By this I mean, don't start a flamewar (heated discussions are acceptable until any of my other rules are broken) in my corner of the internet. Take it somewhere else, it's not welcome here.
3. Insults are not a bannable offense unless they are: misogynistic, racist, homophobic, transphobic, etc. Also: drive-by insults are not acceptable. Example: if the insult is your *only* comment and not in response to an asshole comment then it will be deleted and you will be banned.
4. Don't say anything here that you wouldn't mind being shown to your boss.
5. If you are a white, heterosexual man ... tread lightly. You are not a speshul snowflake. I am not obligated to take YOUR experiences into consideration and bend over backwards for you. Women have been doing it for far too long. Your privilege stops here.
